Tong Ren Training

For various updated training info pls. visit www.tomtam.com.

Tom Tam offers multiple training seminars every year. The seminars most often consist of an introduction to the Tom Tam Healing System along with an introduction and hands-on experience with Tong Ren Therapy. Many of the people who come to the seminars are not professional healers, rather they are learning to benefit their family and friends. Most often these are people who have been helped themselves from the techniques. In the most recent seminars, there has been a noticeable increase in professional people enrolling - medical doctors, chiropractors, nurses, dentists, acupuncturists, TCM doctors, massage therapists and Chi Gong healers. The trend is similar in the U.S., Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

MEDICAL RESEARCH

There is the first published study of Tong Ren undertaken by members of the medical communities of Dana Farber, Harvard Medical School and the University of Virginia. The principal investigator of this first published study of tong ren is Amy Sullivan. Amy is presently at the University of Virginia continuing her research. Among her current projects are two studies of Tong Ren: a proposal to study the effects of Tong Ren on HIV/Aids and her longer term study, ongoing, of guinea pigs who (1) have healed from any type of illness using tong ren; and (2) are willing to submit their medical records for review. If you would like to participate in either study, please email Amy Sullivan at asullivan@vcu.edu/. In addition, Dr. Daley has launched a study of the effects of Tong Ren on Hashimotos disease.

Three studies of Tong Ren are underway by members of the medical community. This is not something that is separate and apart from all of us, members of this community. We can participate – we can share the results of the first study with our doctors , we can share our experience in the long term study…we can be both educators and educated.
